Favorite crock pot recipes
I know this has been asked in the past, but can we collect our favorites in a thread again?
I'll be using them for meals next week.

Three boneless chicken breasts thawed. Pour in a jar of salsa. Cook about 6 hours, then shred the chicken and stir it all up. Serve in tortillas with whatever fixings you like.
A different variation of this is using spaghetti sauce instead of salsa and serving with pasta.

I just saw this one on pinterest. Haven't tried it yet, but it sounds good. Looks like there are a lot of other crock pot recipes on the site too.

Love both of these. The second one is super hot though. I'd only use half the bottle next time.

A pot roast, reduced fat cream of mushroom soup, liptons mushroom and onion mix on low for a bunch of hours.
Some variation of chicken, salsa, taco seasoning, corn, black beans and cream cream on low for a bunch of hours.
Pork shoulder, bottle of beer, barbeque sauce (Stubbs is the best!) and some quartered onions on low for awhile.
Haven't made this one yet, but want to:

Savory Sweet Roast from Fix it and Forget it:
3-4 lb beef roast, oil, 1 onion chopped, can cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 c water, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup vinegar, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp prepared mustard, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Brown the meat in oil, put in slow cooker. Blend together remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Cook on low 12-16 hrs or on high 8 hrs.
I serve it with potatoes or noodles or rice. I also thicken the sauce with cornstarch before serving.
I was just coming to post this one. I made it last week and it was really good.
I was thinking that second one might be good sunday with the super bowl. Maybe I'll try it!
