  lol no kidding. i was in florence sunday to wednesday and it was the coldest that it's been in years and snowed tuesday night. it was beautiful

  Yeah, the cold snap kind of came out of nowhere (in southern IT, anyway).  Snow on Vesuvius today (although that does happen every so often, it's just of funny to think about).

  also i was in rome last week until sunday and it was 60, sunny and beautiful. so funny to see a few days later that it's snowing.

  These photos are awesome . . . though I feel bad for the people there! My cousin in the Italian Alps must be miserable (and I'm assuming that this weather may have something to do with why she didn't respond to my e-mail this week.)
