Well ladies, Oscar is going to be a big brother! Baby A is on the way, EDD 9/9/12! We had our first appointment on Tuesday and everything looks great, got to see and hear the heartbeat via u/s, I couldn't stop smiling all day. Happy Friday all!

Yep, told my mom Tues. Night, told my sis at lunch on Wed., told MIL/FIL and SIL/FBIL in separate skype sessions on Wed., other SIL/BIL via phone on Wed., and finally my dad last night. Everyone is super excited. As you know, my MIL has been bugging us incessantly (like almost to the point I wanted to wait another 5 years just to spite her) for grandbabies and low and behold, edd is yer birthday. She is very excited. Although not happy she can't tell anyone outside the SILs, we aren't telling the whole family until 2nd tri.

Well, I took a dollar store test on Mon 1/2 and it appeared to be a very faint line...so faint I was just sure I was imagining it. So I didn't say anything, went out and got some digitals and took it the next morning. 2nd dollar store test had the same faint line, then I dipped the digi. Pregnant popped up right away. So I was like "alright, let's do this" I had to go to work all day and waited to tell him. I decided on a theme dinner and hit the grocery after work for short ribs, New potatoes, baby spring mix salad, and tiny Ben and Jerrys ice cream. Went and got a Daddy loves me onesie at Buy Buy Baby, wrapped that and the cleaned off digi test (in a baggie) in a gift bag and that was waiting for him when he got home. He opened it and was like "wait, are you pregnant?" Yeah, duh. So I told him there was another gift in the bag and he pulled out the pg test. He kept laughing, I was crying and laughing at his reaction, then he goes "Yeah! My boys can SWIM!" So cute.
