doctor recs please

so i've been here almost two years but still don't have a PCP/gyn Huh?

i live and work in the district, so i'd really prefer not to head outside the city for appointments. DH & i love the dentist (nestie rec, yay!) so i thought i'd check in on nestie-approved docs first.

TIA

Re: doctor recs please

  • When I lived in the city,  I loved, loved, loved Dr. Darcy Hansen.  You would need to check to see what insurance (if any) she is accepting these days, but she always spent a lot of time with me for each physical, asked me all about everything that was going on in my life and took a really whole person view to doctoring.  I can't recommend her enough.
  • thanks! i will look her up. she sounds like my doc in nyc, who i went to for 9 years and loved.

  • My doctor shared on-call duty with the Capital Women's Care on K street and I really liked Dr. Bajaj when I was in the hospital with DD. She is young and was very attentive with me.

    GL!

I see Dr. Bajaj with Capital Women's Care. The office is in Foggy Bottom, not too far from the Metro Station and GW. My first visit with her was last year and she was really nice. Plus I like the fact she is young.

This post also reminds me I need to make my yearly appointment.
