Does anyone have a Cricut??

I've been wanting one since they came out. They've really come down in price and I am bored out of my mind. My SIL is throwing my H's cousin a wedding shower in June, and my mom's wedding is in April. I could have a field day making stuff for them!

Just wondering if anyone had one and if they had anything good or bad to say about them.

My friend got one, but ended up selling it on ebay pretty quickly because all the cartridges were so expensive. She replaced it with a Silhouette Cameo, and doesn't have enough good things to say about it. She LOVES it and makes all kinds of awesome stuff with it!

I don't have one, but I have a ton of friends that do. Most absolutely love their machines, but it is a huge investment with the carts and also with stuff like the Gypsy, design studio, etc. for full functionality. That said I still go back and forth with wanting one. There are other machines that are more up front, but you don't need carts like the Silhouette like Jess mentioned. If you just want to use it for stuff like invites and such you could probably get by with a few basic carts and wedding related carts and not have much of a need for many of the others since they are pretty specific to scrapbooking

I bought it!! Walmart had a package deal that I thought was reasonable and included a cartridge with it. The have an online design studio that sealed the deal for me!! Now I just have to wait for it to come in.
