Fridayyyyyy!
It's Friday! I am playing hooky today from work. Very long story, I'll save for another time, but work has been miserable lately. I literally couldn't bring myself to go in today. Serious mental health day was needed!
Tomorrow, we are going to visit my good friend and her new baby TWIN GIRLS! They were born in November, and they live in Brooklyn, so this is our first time getting there. I can't wait!
Sunday, we'll be home, with my parents visiting, cooking and having a good Sunday dinner before the big game. I can't wait for the commercials and Madonna halftime!

Yay for Friday!!!
Tonight I have to run a few errands after work and DH is working late (he is on-call this weekend). Then I will come home and probably veg out.
Saturday will be laundry and cleaning for sure. I may do some of my cooking for Sunday in the afternoon too. We will probably go out to dinner.
Sunday we are hosting Super Bowl, so I will be preparing for that.
I cannot explain how excited I am that it is Friday! This week took forever.
Tonight I am going to Manhattan to see my roomate from college and have dinner. Very excited to see her!
As some of you may have seen, DH is off to Indy for the SUPER BOWL! I am so jealous, but super excited for him. He is going with his best friend, who is also the long time BF of my best friend (the four of us are all very close). So by best friend Nikki is going to come stay at my house for the weekend and we are going to have a nice girls weekend. Saturday will probably be manicures, cheesy movies, and junk food.
Sunday we will hang out maybe do some shopping, then head out to a local restaurant/bar for the Super Bowl. Lets go Pats!

LOL - side note, i think i just ate an entire pound of cherries. yum
ok tonight is pretty lame, prob close to nothing... gym and maybe up to Boston to see Sami's grandfather - but he won't let me in the actual hospital so who knows what i'm going to do for an hour or so...
tomorrow my photo shoot got postponed so i'm going to get up and paint the nursery w/ my mom! or rather watch her paint? it's only two walls since two will stay yellow. (art teacher and good friend will be coming down in a few weeks to add stars and galaxies : ) ) then low key - saving all of my energy - and my ONE BEER - for sunday!

OMG everytime i think about it my heart starts racing. haha i'm so excited. really honestly i don't think the Pats will let us down this year. it's been such an amazing year and i really can't imagine them letting lil Eli get the best of them twice. i hope and pray i don't have to eat my words on MOnday but either way i love my boys and am so excited for one last football game!!! we are heading to a friends house for the game so it should be a good time...

Tonight I have nothing planned. Will probably throw in a couple of loads of laundry (because, this is just getting pathetic), and veg out with DH. Friday nights are starting to be a little routine where I chill out in the mancave with him and we BS about our week, watch TV, and it is just the two of us. I am really loving it! : ) I feel like a little high school sap getting to hang out with her boyfriend on Friday nights! Hahah! Beside, we usually end up on Food Network watching the Triple D marathon every Friday which makes us SO hungry, so we go get junk from the kitchen and pig out! Haha! What's not to love about that?!?
Tomorrow I seriously (no, for REALS this time) need to catch up on laundry and get the house cleaned. I am hoping to get my glider I got for the nursery put together sometime this weekend. I am also going to make homemade lasagna for Saturday night! YUM! Can't wait for that!
Sunday we are going to a local bar where my DH participates in a FF league, so they throw a party for those that were in it with tons of food and free booze...well, I guess free iced tea for me! Haha! It should be really fun!

Tonight I am going to happy hour with some co-workers. DH is working, so I'll just hang out at home afterwards.
Tomorrow I'm going to do some wedding planning/shopping with a friend whose wedding I'm helping to plan.
Sunday I'm going to go visit my grandma (she got out of the hospital on Tuesday!) and my parents. We're going to a super bowl party with a bunch of friends....it's always a good time!

Tonight I don't have any real plans, easy dinner (burgers) and relaxing.
Tomorrow I have a chiropractic appt and lunch w/my dad after. I'll make some stops on the way home to spend some Old Navy Super Cash ($30!) and then relax in the evening.
Sunday I'm shopping for a bra to wear with my BM dress for Brenna's wedding with my boss's fiancee after we have lunch, then to the Superbowl party!

April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
I am still les miserables so I came home from work again today, after one hour of being there. I am stuffed up like crazy, my head is congested and my nose and throat are killing me.
I still hope to go to our nephew's house for SB on Sunday so hopefully skipping my workouts and hanging out on the couch (and taking my antibiotics) will have me feeling better by then.
I'm so happy it's Friday, too! This week was brutally long.
Tonight DH and I are hitting up Sam's Club for a few things then picking up paint and supplies for the guest bedroom.
Saturday morning we have our hospital tour of L&D and recovery. Hopefully we'll really find out what all the hospital policies are and I'm excited to see the rooms because the entire hospital has been remodeled. That afternoon we will start to paint the guest bedroom.
Sunday, more painting and cleaning plus laundry and I'll actually start washing some baby things! I'm sure we'll watch the game, but I'm really just in it for the ads. Sorry, not a huge football fan over here. I'll also probably start making several of my to-do lists, including baby stuff we still need to buy and what needs to go in my hospital bag.
We have NOTHING going on this weekend and I couldn't be more excited. This is the second weekend since Merritt was born that we haven't had company in town and I can't wait to be a family of three with no one else around.
We will probably head over to a friend's house on Sunday to hang out and possibly stay for the game, but we'll see.
@Cindy get to feeling better girly! I hope this weekend helps knock out the last few bits of that cold!

Tomorrow we are MOVING to North Kansas City - doesn't seem like much but we are only going to be five minutes from Jeff's job and will officially be Kansas Citians. Let's just hope the weather is good to us - today has been a rainy mess, but it's looking like it's clearing up already. *crossing fingers*
Sunday we'll spend the day unpacking and then settling in for the Super Bowl. CRAZY excited about Madonna's halftime performance - let's hope she brings back the wedding dress and some Like a Virgin for the people who love her most, amiright?! GO GIANTS!
