Some very familiar and loved names there, to be sure! Which grocery store do you usually shop at? We shop at Safeway and I've never seen a British section, though when I was in Daytona a few years ago visiting my aunt, there was quite an extensive selection in her Publix.

I've been looking around here... we had a new grocery store open recently that was closer (Safeway is about 25 mins away) but we weren't really impressed with it. Didn't notice any British section in there either but it was more of a local grocery than a big name place.

For imported items... the prices you describe really aren't too bad. It's the kind of price we'd pay for the equivalent name brand stuff in Safeway. I ran out of teabags a few days ago and been on coffee instead but having tea withdrawals ;) Hope I can find something like your store locally!

  • This is a Jewel Osco. I think they are in the mid-west usually only. I shop at Dominick's more often now which is an off shoot of Safeway. I'll have to pay more attention there to see if I see anything. I have seen After Eight's there of all places. Which is nice because I fell in love with those!

A great option might be amazon too. I've looked for German brands on the regular US website for DH and I've found some decent priced stuff. Which ships from the US even.

    Stop drinking that nasty coffee!
