Made from scratch! I never buy meatballs in a bag.. always make my own with my ground beef. Just add salt, paprika, egg, bread crumbs - roll into small balls put in boiling water let them cook for a bit then add the veggies for the soup.

  • DH has had a roast cooking in the sous vide machine since last night. I'm excited :).

I know the kid who opened this restaurant (he's a good friend of a good friend).  I'm thrilled to see it's doing so well - good for him!  I want to try it out sometime when I'm up in Seattle.  :)

  • Homemade pizza! It really hit the spot and I made banana bread for later :)

    David? He's awesome :)

This was our second dinner there - I went into the kitchen and talked to David while he was plating dessert and it was awesome. He gave me cooking tips for sun chokes.

    Tonight's dinner was:

a opening snack of oysters on the half shell with a lemon sauce

starter of grilled flat bread with feta cheese and black mushrooms and turkish oregano

main dish was scallops over kale with a farro and golden beet salad with vinaigrette

dessert was fresh lemon cookies and chocolate balls

I can't wait until they launch their dinner club :)

  • I started out good! With Subway. They're doing any sub for $5 again this month so that's probably all I'll be eating. But then I ate donuts afterwards. Sad

Yeah, Dave is a friend of a friend.  He used to live in CA because he went to school down here and worked in tech for a while afterward so I'd bump into him occasionally.

Meal sounds delicious - I'm going to have to try Belle Clementine one of these weekends when back up in Seattle.  I've heard it's already getting difficult to get a table so I may just have to use my girlfriend to get me in.  Their supper club sounds like so much fun - great food *and* hopefully meeting some really cool people.

Highly recommend it. And I'll be part of the supper club, so if your ever in town and can't snag a quick seat at a table, let me know and I'll see if I can help as well.
