Starting Over
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Oh - hai. I've got a new name

I started posting on here a few weeks ago under my original nest name, and decided I'd rather be a little more anonymous.  Thought I'd give everyone a heads up about it.

If you'd like to know what my old screen name was, feel free to send a PM.

Re: Oh - hai. I've got a new name

  • How did you change your name? Did you have to sign up with a different e-mail and name or can you change it somehow? I'd like to do the same to keep myself a little more anonymous too.

There's no way to change your name (trust me, I would have loved to have kept my post count, le sigh), so I just signed up under a new email account. if you delete your current account, I believe you can also sign up under the same email account as your current account.

  • Yeah, it would be nice to not lose the post status. Although mine is relatively small anyway. Thanks!
