Kardashian Topless Jean Ad (PIP)

I heard about this yesterday morning (on the Today show? or GMA?) and basically everyone is saying the Kardashian's are so done that they're trying everything they can to bring more popularity to themselves.
Oh, and the ad is for Sears.
Thoughts?
Re: Kardashian Topless Jean Ad (PIP)
I rolled my eyes when I saw this. You don't need to be topless to advertise a pair of jeans. This doesn't make me want to buy their jeans. Maybe if I saw the jeans paired with a cute top, or looking like something I'd actually wear walking down the street, I'd feel differently. They're just such narcisstic famewhores. This is just for attention.
And the picture is so photoshopped, there's zero credibility that the jeans would look fine on a normal person.
I agree! All 3 of them have very different body shapes (Kourtney is tiny, Kim's got a donk, Khloe has curves), and I think it would be beneficial to see a "real" fit. But of course, it's photoshopped.
And I don't think topless ads help.
Definately. I'm surprised some parents are ok with the Kardashians being role models for their children.
I thought Kim was over the whole posing naked thing (per an old episode). Guess not.
And this ad is ridiculous. And Khloe especially is ridiculously photo-shopped.
Poor Sears... Who ever thought it was a good idea to bring the Kardashian line into Sears should be fired and banned from all retail establishments. I saw some skanky Kardashian dresses on the clearance rack the other day. Hopefully, the Kardashian line will be a total fail and we won't have to see their stoopid faces when we enter Sears stores.
From what I understand the Kardashians shopped the idea of a clothes line to several different department stores, and Sears was the only one that was really excited and willing to work with the family and their demands.
I make a point not to purchase brands that the Kardashians promote. I'm sure there are other people out there as well who do the same.
This doesn't surprise me at all.
Oh my... you're right! You win!
But do you normally think of Sears as being a big purveyor of sexy ads? Not usually. It's strange.
I don't like how they are posing......they should have done what I mentioned, but not even shown them from the shoulders up.
This is exactly how I feel. I am so sick of them. It feels like I can't go anywhere without hearing about them or seeing a product they are trying to sell. I think there are much better role models that these companies could be picking to advertise their products.
Me too! As soon as I hear that the Kardashians are teamed up with a certain company or brand I stay far away. There is no need for any of us to be giving that family our hard earned money.
