Neat Crochet Scarf patterns?

Looking for a great crochet scarf pattern. I am making one for a friend of mine because she has been so good to me throughout last year.

Thanks!

Re: Neat Crochet Scarf patterns?

  • Check out ravelry!  Its free to sign up and then you can search for free scarf patterns.

Once you search for "scarf"  look on the left side of the page and you can specify things like "free" and "Crochet" (so you don't get knit too)

  • Thanks! I don't think I am on any crafting websites which is odd since I crochet and trying to get back into knitting. LOL!
  • Ravelry is the place to be.  There are also tons of free patterns on the yarn manufacturers' web sites (some links in the FAQ at the top of the board) but even those are probably already on Ravelry.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • I can email you the pattern for this one if you'd like.

That pattern is adorable!!! Sure but I need a thick chunky one. I am going to attempt to create one with single crochets only but I know it is going to take a while because she wants it to be Euro style. (long thick scarf.)

Find a pattern that uses a bulky weight yarn and you'll be done in no time.

Or use two strands of yarn simultaniously if you want.  My SIL made some cowls this way for Christmas, they turned out great!
