Here's what I made for my little guy. He loves the Five Little Ducks song. DH said they looked like geese, but had zero suggestions on how to make them look more like ducks. So I just left them. I hope you can tell they are ducks.

And thank you so much for the gender reveal ideas! I wanted to do all of them, but DH isn't into photography and he's the only choice I have. Plus, it's 20 degrees in Maine, and outside shots would include parkas. I'd love to do the balloon idea in particular...maybe the next kid (lol!) Anyway, I had him take a picture of me reading Spot's Baby Sister with my LO and that was the reveal. So, it's a girl.
I don't want to post a pic of me on here for all to see...but if you're interested, here's the link: http://bornambitous-bornimaginative.blogspot.com/2012/02/its_03.html Thanks again for the suggestions.
Re: The Five Little Ducks PIP and f/u gender reveal
Your ducks are so adorable! My students love that story!!
I think the only thing to make them more "duck-like" would be to have used yellow as their body color like in the book....but I still think they look just ducky to me.

Thanks! The color is actually yellow in real life. The picture washes it out a bit. He should learn after all these years to keep his mouth shut unless he has suggestions.
Thanks!
No way! You're having a girl too?! We'll have to compare of crafty adventures now that we get a chance to create for a girl. Exciting!
Yes! My list is already a mile long, I am so excited to sew for a baby girl
