    While this was the right decision, I'm still baffled why they would have hired someone as their VP of Public Policy who had such a clear political agenda. The info was out there on the internet that she was going to do this in Georgia, so I am still confused as to why they would have hired her in the first place or let her push that ridiculous agenda. I think the damage has been done. I work with a local cancer clinic on marketing, and they are really going to think twice about supporting Komen events in the future.

    I'm glad it was reversed. Thank God. But, I have lost a lot of respect for Susan G Komen Foundation.

    Didn't that lady end up resigning under protest because of this?  Or was that another individual?  Somebody stepped down, but the name is escaping me.

    Nope. She's still there. The top public health official there quit because she was so outraged by the decision.
