Good Saturday Morning!!!

Morning ladies! I'm up early... like always.

I ended up just going to bed early last night, it was necessary and I fell right to sleep.

We have pretty much no plans this weekend, just a few errands to run. :) I'm excited to just relax and do nothing. Of course we need to scrub the house but otherwise, nothing! Big Smile

  • i went to bed early too, but i guess i needed the extra sleep. I did my weekly weigh in this week and found NO CHANGE in two weeks!!! i am so frustrated right now becuase i have been working out a ton, alcohol once a week and really watching what i eat and eating a ton of veggies and almost all homecooked.  argh! BUT, my clothes a fitting better and i definately look betternaked but still, the weight has not budged.  TIme for a new scale right? hehe. 

    going to zumba, then Marymoor later with my pup pup. Party tonight! 

  • it'll change, give it time. make sure you're drinkng atleast half your weight in oz of water.. so if you weigh 180, drink 90oz of water. since i weigh 252, i will drink atleast 126 oz of water.. and some will be with lemon which helps as well! gl!

  • Unfortunately, I did not get to go to bed early last night. Pho with friends was great though! We came back to our house and played some games and hung out till 11. Have some plans to go Black Light mini golfing today and dinner with the IL's but I have to go to Zumba first! Have a great Saturday!

    I had a 4 mile run planned this morning but I am not feeling up to it. I'm so annoyed... it's only the most gorgeous morning for a run out there! I'm really hoping if I rest up today I can get out there tomorrow.

    Otherwise, I have a hair color appt this afternoon and H and I have reservations at Seastar tonight. Hopefully a good nap at some point too. Enjoy your sunny Saturday everyone!

  • I think i definately need to up my water intake.  I got one of those plastic cups with plastic straws and i drink more now at work but i gotta make more of an effort at home.

    I'm surprise at how many of you have responded so early on a Saturday morning already!! 

    Today: We meet with our prospective doula, see if we like her.. so it's a coffee meet and greet kinda thing. Then after that DH plans to start painting the baby room and I'm going to see if I can't get the quilt finished. Fold some laundry etc.

  • Good morning! I went to bed early and got up early, which is nice. 

    Today H and I are meeting up with a friend from high school who now works at Boeing. We ran into him on the last leg of our trip home from NC, which was a happy coincidence. He's going to take us on the Boeing factory tour, then we're doing dinner out and checking out Diamond Knot, a microbrewery up there. I'm excited about it!

  • Morning! I've got a facial this morning :p, then rehearsal, then hanging out with a girlfriend. DH is going to this beer tasting thing tonight, so I think I may actually stay home, hang out, and watch Downton Abbey.
  • Good morning!  I'm trying to think of something to bring to a Super Bowl party tomorrow that's vegetarian, since most Super Bowl snacks are not, and I want to make sure there's something I can eat!

    There is still lots of unpacking to do, I keep procrastinating on that.

  • I slept in, which was nice.  DH is at work.  I was planning to go to work today (still should), but also could clean the house, do grocery shopping, etc.  It's so nice out, I should take the dog for a walk.

    Tomorrow is Super Bowl all day.  Hopefully I don't pig out too bad.  ; )

    That is a great idea, thanks!  There is going to be a nacho bar at the party I'm going to, and I can add that to the mix for everyone :)

     I finished baking cookies for tomorrow. Going to see one for the money later. It's going to be so nice to have a break from bkb. Can't wait for Superbowl tomorrow.

    I slept in and now I'm trying to make our meal plan for the week. We always do appetizers for the Super Bowl, but everything sounds good to me right now.

    Low key weekend for us, just grocery shopping and hopefully getting my truck to start.

  • Way past morning now but good Afternoon!

    I ran some errands this morning with M who decided to make fart sounds at people in the grocery store. She thinks its funny. Right now Im just waiting a few minutes before putting her down for a nap then its go time for me. Im planning a 20min run on the treadmill then I have cleaning to do along with whatever else I can think of to do before M wakes up from her nap lol

    :) i didn't know how much you weighed! i wouldn't have guessed 180, i just made that number up. but yes.. even if you have to mentally tell yourself.. ok, i need to drink one glass before this hour is over.. and keep doing that. it will help! seriously! put some lemon in it, it makes it easier! and green tea will help too!

    What's likely happening is that your body is replacing fat with muscle.  You may even see your weight increase and you shouldn't let it disturb you, because muscle weighs more than fat. Muscle is also great, because the more muscle you have, the more effectively you burn fat.  The scale will start to go down, don't worry about that!

  • hi!  I'm late on this.  Lots of work/fun/travel/chores/etc... but good things!  I'm so excited I got good results finally on some experiments and maybe I'll make it through grad school after all :)
