My SO told me this evening that if we get married, he's getting a vasectomy. I am actually really relieved to hear this, since that takes the issue of bc off of my mind. I'm also glad to hear the word "married" being tossed in too, but that's another happy place all together

That's awesome he's willing to do that, but may I recommend waiting a year or so until he gets a vasectomy after you marry? I know several people who went in the marriage saying they didn't want kids and a year or two later, it seemed like the right choice.
Oh no, I don't mean immediately, I should have clarified that we discussed that something like this would take place a couple of years in.
I wish we knew for sure if we wanted kids or not. If we were positive we wouldn't want kids in the future then we'd be right on H getting a vasectomy and my mind would be so much more at ease!
