I'm in a bind. Help!
I made plans with my parents to go bowling tonight with them, my brother, his gf, and my H.
I get on FB this morning and see a friend's baby shower is today and not next week! I already RSVP'ed yes to it and completely forgot!
What do I do? I can't bail on my brother because he's been looking forward to this for weeks. I feel terrible. My status is saying that I don't feel so hot (which I still don't) and the host of the shower commented asking if I was still going to make it.
Is it completely tacky to say no because I'm sick? FWIW, I'm not super close to the girl. We used to work together. Help!
