How do you recommend cleaning a glass-top stove without scratching it? Particularly when liquid spills out of the pot and gets burnt onto the surface.
Re: Cleaning Glass-top stove
have not tried this myself but it is making the rounds on Pinterest.

So, I tried this. I *think* our cookertop is glass. Heck if I know really but baking soda is mild enough to be used anywhere.
Worked pretty well, but I also kinda forgot about it and left it there for an hour
I use the magic eraser. The stovetop cleaners never do crap on my stove top.
FWIW, my old smooth top range (Kenmore) was a million times easier to keep clean than my current one (Frigidaire). Not sure why.
Barkeepers friend with a scratch free scrubber works great.
I tried this and didnt like it. Once I cleaned it, I then had to reclean to remove the baking soda film. I much prefer to use a magic eraser or bar keepers friend.
