Unique Date Night Ideas please...
I am giving a year of dates for a gift for my sister and brother in-laws 20th anniversary. I need some more creative ideas. Nothing that involves traveling or too much money. Since were providing 12 we need to stick within a reasonable normal date night budget. My sister is into baking and my bro. in-law is a sports buff. She likes martinis, he likes Jack and coke. They are both more conservative. They're in their early 40's. We live in San Diego, CA. Any suggestions would be so helpful...I'm running out of ideas!!

Re: Unique Date Night Ideas please...
Here's two things I had pinned on pinterest - maybe they'll be of some help.

Picnic basket for an evening on the beach
Wine tasting
Cooking class
movie tickets
sports tickets
concert (even just a local blues band, or similar)
a nice dinner
Do any local museums do evening events? We have different things "under the stars"
massage
some type of cruise to no where/fishing charter/gambling cruise
Good luck - that is a very nice idea!
a basket with a couple of boxes of typical movie theater candy, a dvd or 2, microwave popcorn, and sodas, so they can have a movie night in.
a board game and the ingredients and a recipe card to a meal they can cook together and then play the game after. (if the recipe has meat in it, include a gift card to the grocery store to cover the cost of the meat) I was thinking something like a chicken parm, or maybe a steak in some kind of wine sauce)
as for other things they can do out:
couples spa night -massages, pedicures, facials
drive in movies
dinner theater
tickets to a comedy club
a fondue restaurant
cooking class
dance class
rock climbing
ropes course
helicopter tour
wine tasting
Love the museum idea! thanks...
What is a ropes course?
Thanks! I love the dahlingdatingdivas!
Definitely a cooking class
Sports tickets, maybe to a local college team?
Try looking on Groupon too. You may get ideas or find a Groupon that's cool.
I know San Francisco has these little go-carts that you can rent and do a tour of the city. Does San Diego have that?
What about some kind of beach activity?
You can always get them a gift certificate to an interesting restaurant that they might not normally go to (different kind of cuisine or theme like fondu or something).
Tea Time for Lulu
I love the city go-cart idea because they'd never do it themselves. We also have horse carriages...so maybe one of those! Great idea!
Does the university there have a drama program? Maybe get tickets to an upcoming comedy.
Dinner at an ethnic restaurant that maybe they haven't tried before, like Vietnamese or Portuguese.
Kayaking at la jolla beach.
Couples work out with a personal trainer.
A gift certificate to victoria's secret with a card that says, " there must be consensus on this purchase." so they have to go shopping together.
ice skating.
Waterpark.
The zoo!

You are very thoughtful to do this as a gift!
How about a "Staycation". One night at a local hotel/B&B. It could be a nice night out away from the kids (assuming they have them).
