I went to the gym today and did an hour of cardio (up from my usual half an hour) so that was nice.
I'm also cooking at home (I honestly think that no matter what I cook at home, it's healthier than anything I'd order at a restaurant), and tomorrow I'm going to Sports Basement to buy a heart rate monitor and new workout shoes. So buying stuff to get healthy counts, right? Ha.
Also I have tons of chocolate sitting around my house right now from a party we threw a few weeks back and I'm not touching any of it. There is a whole box of brownie bites that have been untouched by me, which is sort of unheard of. The funny thing is, if you don't eat sugar that much... you find you start to not miss it!
I second this! Its a pretty great feeling!
lol.. the less i eat it, the less my body craves it.. until i smell it, then it's over. lol. however, i think i'll always have a special place in my stomach for the cupcakes and reese's sticks of the world.
oh, and icecream.
I did a 5K snowshoe up at Stevens Pass this morning with a couple friends. (It was the "Romp to Stomp Out Breast Cancer.") So that should've burned some calories!
And then we went to Red Robin for lunch, where I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries. But I passed on the beer, and I only had one mozzarella stick and one small onion ring for an appetizer.
