So, sizing question. I know when they're younger (<1) while the sizes are sometimes wonky and don't match their age, you can assume that they are growing quickly enough that you need to size up (or two) for the next full season, etc.
Now that Jane is nearly two (sniff!) she's obviously growing at a much slower rate and I am totally confused what size to get her for Spring/Summer - - and of course I have to get stuff now because if I wait like I normally do nothing will be left. Right now she's firmly in 2T but wears lots of 3T also (mostly for length).
I got her a ton of stuff at Carter's yesterday (PSA: 40% off everything in store + 20% coupon) and got 3T. Now I'm worried though that come say July 3T isn't going to cut it but I also can't imagine a 2 year old wearing a 4T?
ANyone with a 2 year old in a 4T? Do they really wear sizes longer as they age? Help!

My kids haven't been in the same size for more than a year. I feel like I'm buying new clothes in bigger sizes every season. Logan just started wearing 3T pants and 4T shirts. He'll be 3 in April. Lincoln doesn't grow as quickly and he's been in 18 months for about 5 months now, we'll see how long this lasts.
I do remember with Lily she could get away with wearing the same size for a really long time and she's the same way now. She wears the same size clothes for almost 2 years before needing a bigger size.

I can't imagine my 2 year old still in12 month size but it looks like that's what it will be she seems to be much slower to grow
