Costa Rica-Springs Resort from the Bachelor...
has anyone stayed here? It looks amazing online. Thinking of doing a night or two here. Wondering if it's worth it, it's expensive.
Thanks for any info about the place!
Re: Costa Rica-Springs Resort from the Bachelor...
I haven't stayed there, but I visited the hot springs at the resort (this was three years ago - they had a super bowl party - food, alcohol and a visit to the springs included) - so cannot comment on the rooms or restaurants really. The resort itself is stunning and the grounds were very well taken care of. Also - I need to add that I was there when it had just opened and many parts were still under construction. There was no one there. So...as I said, we ended up there for a super bowl party and other than the people we came with, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The swim up bar was awesome. The springs were beautiful. Overall, I thought it was a really stunning property. Not natural, but well appointed and designed. The food wasn't great, but again, we were part of an all-inclusive party so they were really just serving bar food. I don't know if eating at the restaurants would be better. The traveler pictures posted on trip advisor are pretty true - the place really is that gorgeous.
You can get day passes for the springs which I would absolutely recommend doing if you don't end up staying there. I enjoyed their hot springs a lot more than eco teramales - which was very crowded.

Thanks so much!! I saw the day pass option for $40 bucks, which is much cheaper, lol, so maybe we'll do that! I am still trying to figure out our iternary.
