my plan worked
DH and I were planning a trip to London, Amsterdam, and Germany. Then I decided to cut Germany and save it for a later trip, and go to Paris instead. DH said okay, but I could tell he was only lukewarm about Paris.
So last night I suggested we rent Midnight in Paris, partly so we can watch as many Oscar noms as we can, and partly to see if it have any impact on DH. Well, it worked! The opening sequence is a series of Parisian scenes, and before that was even over DH says "Ok, we can go to Paris."
BTW, it was a good movie.

Ooh, that movie really made me want to go back to Paris!
I've never been to Spain but would love to go. Last night we watched Vicky Cristina Barcelona and my husband was like "yea, that'd be a cool place to visit."
That's awesome OP! We didn't care for the movie itself (Midnight in Paris) but the scenary did make me excited for our trip!
