Re: Super Bowl Food
I'm part of the chicken wing gang too. There was a crazy BOGO sale on whole wings, so I bought two packages and butchered them down last night. They took an overnight bath in hot sauce and tons of fresh garlic, and then I oven roasted them for a bit, and they're about to finish on the grill to get nice and crunchy and smoky.
I've also got a batch of curried kale chips going, and chips & guac. Needless to say, Will and I will be sporting our Patriots gear- I think DH is more excited for the giant pile of wings than the actual game. So glad they sell Sam Adams down here so I can completely my full New England day!

In a few minutes I'm going to make some buffalo chicken dip and we'll have some cheese and chicken quesadillas, too. That's dinner tonight. I think DH ate his chips and dip during the hockey game this afternoon (while I was napping).
DH has a box of Shipyard chilling in the garage. I have caffeine free Diet Coke. I'm going to try not to fall asleep before the end of the game.
We've got Shipyard beer, burgers with cheese and/or guacamole, potato skins (potatoes are baking as I type!), and chocolate chip cookies the family made today.
I'm so pumped for the game... and the food!!!!!! I wish I had some Pats gear to wear; the boys have shirts, but I'm stuck with just color coordination, which I'm not doing very well either. I might need to change before the game lest I jinx them.
GO PATS!!!!!
Buffalo chicken bites, homemade potato chips and dip, BBQ flavored onion rings, pizza, and some thin mint ice cream :P
We were at my folks' for the first half of the game and they had ...
- Several kinds of pizza
- Lasagna
- Bean dip
- Salsa/cream cheese dip
- Onion dip
- Veggie platter & hummus
- Mini chocolate lava cakes with ice cream
I ate a lot.
