Babies and metal detectors?
A gal on the bump is saying babies "can't go through metal detectors" at the airport. Now obviously they physically can, but are they really not supposed to? I never heard this before. Maybe she means they can't walk through alone (cuz they can't walk)?
Re: Babies and metal detectors?
ya that's crazy - they have to
you just have to carry them through - the stroller has to be brought seperately so it can be searched
I would say I wouldn't be comfortable with my baby going in one of those x-ray machines some airports have, but the standard medical detectors are FINE!
the wouldn't allow you to pass security if your baby didn't go through the detector as far as I'm aware......
oh ok that makes more sense
how are you? how's the bub?
The signs at the airport say that you're supposed to take the baby out of the carseat when you send it through the Xray machine.
Just a little FYI for you.
