As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

It is I think a Brooklyn/NY thing I believe. We used to stand on the stoop outside the apartment at midnight on NYE and other special events and bang pots. It is a great childhood memory for me.
Since most of the people in NJ were once NY'rs I think it travelled with them!
My mom used to let me do this too, until I dented one of her favorite pots. Didn't realize it was a regional thing.

But, the Pats made too many mistakes and that's what that game was going to come down to. Congrats, Giants fans.
