Do you use reusable grocery bags? Yes. I actually forgot them on Saturday and I felt dirty.
Which store has the best bags, in your opinion? I don't have any store bags. I have my own.

I happen to like the cloth ones for most things, and then I have a few that are made of a tarp-like material that I use for liquids, in case of leakage.

Which store has the best bags, in your opinion? I used to have these GINORMOUS bags that DH got me at Home Depot. They were traffic cone orange and had handles that fit onto the inside of the car, propping the bags open. It's hard to describe, but I got complimented on them constantly. The problem was how big they were. To make use of the space they weighed too much for me to carry. Eventually the began to tear and I tossed them.
Now my bags are a combination of Giant and Trader Joe's bags - the two stores in which I shop. I don't prefer one over the other, but I like bags with a board in the bottom to help prop them open as I fill them.

I purchased mine from amazon.com. They're called the Reusable Grocery Tote bags. they come in a pack of 12. You almost never have to use all 12 though because they are so spacious and can hold a lot of groceries. I love them!

I'm starting to. Lately, I've been noticing some store charge 5 cents per bag so I keep them with me just in case.

I have some ancient green mesh bags from Giant- they are really old- like I had them in college & used them to move stuff w/- they are big, see through which I like and they have grommets so at some stores they can be put on the metal bag holders which is nice and obviously if I have been carrying since the mid-90s they have held up well.
I have had cashiers say they prefer the bags that are stiff and sit up & open (like the plastic-y ones that most stores sell- we have a few from TJs that are like this.)
I also like my Chico bags because they collapse so small so I can keep 2 in my purse and always have a reusable bag on hand, but the cashiers/baggers don't love those because they don't stand up at all.

If I have a Chico bag in my purse I will use it, no matter what store I am at- save Janie & Jack because their bags are so nice!
