hey girl!  how is the first day going?

do you need distractions?  or, are you swamped with clearing your email inbox and catching up with co-workers?

thinking about you- hope all is well!

  • Hey there,

First day is going well. Jack slept from 11-5 so that awesome.  No tears this morning.  Ok, maybe one, but I think I had it easy because Mr.D will be doing the dropping off and picking up.

Been through the emails but otherwise unmotivated to do anything. Had a good pump session though!

Thanks for thinking of me!  How did you survive your first night away?

  • yay!  glad its going well.  dh is always on drop off duty and i do pick up- i like it better that way.

i survived the first night away.  the party wasn't really "worth it" but it was a good trial run.  when we got there i realized i had fired the bride's brother so that bit of awkwardness made me forget about ds being away from us for a little bit too.  we had an early morning train back and were there in time for his breakfast.  ahhhhhhh relief.  i was so happy to see him (even though he managed to get pinkeye)
