Poll - After Work Attire

Re: Poll - After Work Attire

  • It's a tie between pajamas and yoga pants.  But I absolutely cannot play on the floor with C, cook dinner, put C to bed, etc. wearing my business casual stuff.

  • I voted pajamas which for me are workout clothes as well - yoga pants and t-shirts.  I also work in jeans and t-shorts so those stay on for maybe an hour until the kids get into the bath with DH and then I change.
  • I change into workout clothes and go to work out some days, but not every day.
  • depends on the day, if i'm wearing dressy trousers or a skirt, i usually change. sometimes i put on my yoga pants and go workout. sometimes i just put on my yoga pants as pajamas. if i'm wearing jeans (fridays only) or khakis, i generally stay in those until bedtime.

  • It's really a mix, depending on what I have planned for the evening. If I'm ambitious, I change in to work out clothes. If there's no chance in hell that I'll actually work out, I'll change in to jammies if I'm wearing nice work clothes but if I'm just wearing jeans or khakis I'll keep them on till bed.
  • I have to wear nice clothes to work, so I always change into jeans and a sweatshirt or t-shirt when I get home.  I don't work out or have kids to play with, but changing keeps me from getting dog hair on my nice clothes or messing them up while cooking dinner.  It's also just more comfortable.

  • I chose the workout close because they're comfy option, but not so much because I want to feel "sporty."  I don't really care if they're sporty - I just don't think my PJs are warm enough half the time (I sleep in shorts but would freeze walking around in shorts for hours).

  • On days I DON'T go straight to the gym I immediately change into yoga pants or some other semi-workout looking gear. Seriously, even the dog knows the routine. After the initial greeting/letting her out to pee, she'll come straight in and run up the stairs to the bedroom where I change. If I don't immediately follow her she looks around like, "What? Don't pretend you're staying dressed up. Come on!"
  • I voted to stay in work clothes until it's jammie time... but then again I work from home 3 days a week and wear yoga pants then and the 2 days I do go in the office I wear jeans.
  • PJs definitely as soon as I can get a chance to change.

I usually have to change back into my workout clothes after I put Baby Handy down so I can go running. My workout clothes are usually a little smelly so I don't like to wear them around the house.

  • I picked PJs, but on the nights when I workout I change into workout clothes at the gym, then into PJs when I get home. But I'm almost immediately into PJs when I get home unless I know I have to run an errand or something after J's in bed.

  • I chose option 4, but a few times each week I do work out. Also, I work out in shorts and a tee, but when I'm not working out I change into sweats and a sweatshirt or other long sleeved shirt (when it's cold out).
  • For me it was a cross between workout clothes and jammies. I would usually put on sweatpants or fleece pants and some type of T shirt. Often mismatched. Very comfy, but I certainly wouldn't want to be seen outside the house in it. :)

  • I am trying to work out in the morning, so when I get home from work, I change straight into PJs which are pants and a tshirt or sweatshirt.

If I do work out in the evening I go to the gym here at work, so still when I get home from work, I change into PJs after a quick shower.

  • Depending on the day I'm in my robe and comfy slippers

  • My office is really casual, so I'm in jeans or khakis most days and I rarely change. If I do, it's in to yoga/running pants and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. But, not because I'm working out, just because it's comfy.
