I'm posting now because I have no idea if I'll be able to later. My computer at work is super wonky and will load TN only if it feels like it. Even the format of the home page is weird.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi, that I have thought of a million things to tell you over the last week or so but haven't been able to because by the time I get home, I forget!
DH and I are sort of fighting right now, but I'm nearly positive it will blow over by this afternoon. I think he was just in an overall pissy mood last night and it came to a head last night. Plus, my hormones didn't make it any easier. LOL
M is doing great! She's now 14# 12oz, and 25 1/4"! She's so big it's ridic! Anyway, the nanny is planning on taking the girls to the zoo today if the weather cooperates. I'm hoping it doesn't - I have this thing where I'd like DH and I to be the first ones to take our daughter to the zoo. Is that so wrong? I understand her reasoning, but it's just annoying that they're doing things that M has never done before, and I'm not the one doing them with her.

Picks - I don't think it's wrong or unreasonable to want to be with M for her first trip to the zoo! I'd feel the same way. When I was a nanny in college, I had an absolute blast with the girls I took care of and I always felt so bad for the parents when they couldn't be there. I always tried to take lots of pictures and video, but it's not quite the same. Hopefully we get a random rain shower this morning that changes her plans, then a really beautiful sunny weekend soon to take M to the zoo yourself!
I had an ok weekend... I am super sick again and barely got any sleep from not being able to breath. Blech. I did venture out to get my hair done on Saturday and my stylist put big, wavy curls in my hair. I loved it so much. I've never been able to get my hair to do that on its own, but I'm motivated to try again. H and I had an amazing dinner at Seastar Saturday night, and curled up in front of the game yesterday. Since H is still bitter about the 49ers losing the division championship to the Giants, we passive-aggressively rooted for the Pats. Bummer man. All in all, would have been the perfect weekend had I not been hopped up on sudafed and miserable the whole time. Today, my mission is to get through work in one piece and get some sleep, somehow.

. and yeah, that totally sucks the nanny wants to take M to the zoo----did she not ask you? i would be upset too.
i had a pretty good weekend-- we bought the baby's dresser/changing table from MOR furniture and we started putting the room together. it's starting to look like a baby might live in that room, it's pretty crazy!
no big plans today/this week. just going to drive myself crazy waiting for baby to get here!

She did on Friday, since the weather was so nice. They had taken her to the park that day. I said it would be okay. I kind of feel bad saying no to that stuff since she's got two girls of her own at home, too, so they would be going anyway. I don't know. It's more of an emotional thing than a rational thing.

I had a great weekend, did nothing and it felt SO good. I started using crest white strips last night and I'm excited about that.
So excited to start my new job this week!! Can't wait to make more money and keep myself busy!
picks- that is a bummer, if I were you i'd tell her you'd prefer that she didn't bring her.. if she does, M is too little and will likely not remember any of it.

I had a great weekend. We went to the ballet Saturday afternoon and then went to dinner. Then on a whim we decided yo stay in Seattle for the night. So we went out for dessert and drinks, picked up a few necessities and just had a great time. We rarely do spontaneous things and it was good!
I'm at work today and it's good so far. I've got to prep for my class tomorrow but otherwise nothing too critical.

Yesterday's Super Bowl was fun in that 'I have no idea who to root for sort of way but wasn't that funny when Tom Brady just sat on his butt and looked /reallyreallyreally/ sad?' way.
Then we watched the Voice collectively as a party. Then Downton Abbey. Then most people left except a few guys and they watched Spartacus, which is just like... porn.
We finally got to visit our photographers to put our wedding book together and I have to admit, I'm a lot more excited about the photos now that I see them in book layout style. We're hoping to get the photobooks in before we go to Asia, so we can show them to our extended family there.
My kitchen is a mess, and I need to clean it tonight but ... I don't wanna. ._. But if I don't, there's no dinner. But I don't wanna. ._.
Good Morning! I found out today that I'll soon be able to start work 30 minutes earlier than I do now, and end 30 min. earlier. I'll have to wake up a little earlier, BUT I will get home earlier too!
With the Super Bowl over, I'm bummed that I'll have to wait six months for the pre-season games to start.

Dreamwinds -- I'm in the same boat on the kitchen thing. :-/ Why can't we train them to clean themselves? Like cats do??
Our weekend was a lot of fun... Took it easy on Friday, then went out for brunch Saturday morning with one of my local mom-friends, then got a massage, then had friends over for Rock Band... and then Sunday, we slept in until noon (for probably the last time for the next decade, haha), went out to breakfast at Shari's (and had pie!), then went out to dinner with other friends and had them over for Rock Band afterwards, haha.
Only going into labour would've made it better.
We'll see how this week goes, I guess!

We had a good weekend. Yesterday included a ton of alcohol. I'm shockingly surprised neither of us had hangovers this morning.
Today is my first day of freedom in between jobs and I've already gotten 2 emails from the gal that replaced me. I just want them to go away already.
We're using this week to get things done around the house, so I'm currently waiting on a plumber to come check our water pressure. Our neighbors had a flood last month and they attributed part of the pipe bursting to water pressure issues.
