what, if anything are you doing for Valentine's Day
DH made us an awesome dinner last year for Valentin'e Day. I'm hoping he will do it again! But I also made us reservations for next Saturday night. He's out of town until Friday, so I may end up canceling if he's wiped, but I'll leave it for now. We'll exchange little presents - candy, etc.

Nothing, probably. Our dog is getting fixed the next day, so that will probably be a nice sum of money going to the vet. We'll likely get Chinese food and a bottle of wine and chill out on the couch together.
We are going to the Dewey Beach winter gala the following weekend because we have free tickets from his work, so that will be a fun little overnight.

Someone's getting a little brother!
We have no plans. I have an OB appointment that day! Haha!
DH said Friday nights dinner will be our V-day celebration. I'll take it.
We're actually making sushi at home for V-day. This is funny (to me at least) after reading that so many people on this board dislike sushi. We won't do a gift exchange since neither of us really need anything.
We just bought a huge 3D tv during the post-Christmas sales and DH actually just suggested we get 3D glasses for it and watch a movie in 3D.
I'm actually scared to watch a movie in 3D, which is why I've never gone to the movies to see one. I'm colorblind and I have it in my head that the colored lenses on the glasses are going to screw with me. It's completely irrational, but I'm freaked out by the idea of the glasses.
DH and I are not really "into" Valentines Day, but we sort of fell into a tradition... Pre-kids we used to eat out just about every meal. One year Valentine's Day was on a Saturday and we were looking for some place where we could avoid the Valentines Day crowd. We ended up going to our favorite Indian restaurant. It wasn't crowded, you can bring your own alcohol and the food was (as usual) great.
We've gone back there for Valentines Day every year since. The staff were so excited when we brought Evie with us last year. They brought her all kinds of goodies and gave her a rose to give to me at the end of the night. It was a lot of fun.
Is this place in Cockeysville?
Yes! We love India Palace. They totally spoil Evie when she is there.
Oh, I was thinking of Cafe Spice... we just moved to the area a couple of months ago so we will have to try India Palace. Cafe Spice is also BYOB. And when we took my niece there they gave her a Ring Pop at the end of dinner... I was like, NOOOO! haha
We go there too sometimes. They are also really nice. They offered to give Evie a dum-dum pop, but they showed it to me before hand and I politely declined. She had already had several pieces of Gulaab Jamoon.
I feel like I am cheating on India Palace when we go to Cafe Spice. LOL. But, we can get in and out much quicker at Cafe Spice if we are just trying to do the buffet. At IP we know all the staff. After we are finished eating they just keep bringing us Chai and lassis for Evie and it takes forever to get out of there.
I know part of it is a cultural thing. Indians tend to linger over meals and westerners tend to rush more. It is nice that the staff at IP treat us like family, but sometimes I just want to slurp down some masala and get on to my next errand!
I think we're going out to Bonefish the day after since we have a giftcard to use and Bang Bang Shrimp is $5 on Wednesdays! Woohoo!
Our "gift" is a new wireless printer since my printer won't work with the new OS on my computer. Very romantic, I know...
