Update: Not fun, but it didn't add to my hatred of the dentist. Crown is needed. I also have a small cavity on a neighboring tooth. They will be able to do both at the same time, which is nice. BUT, not today, because they have to get authorization from my insurance company which they said can take 2-3 WEEKS. Suck! I had a cleaning today and didn't need scaling even though it's been forever since I've been to the dentist. Thumbs up for that. Overall, probably the best possible outcome, although I do hope that I can get it taken care of sooner rather than later. Thanks for the thoughts and vibes ladies.
I have to go to the dentist today. Remember how horrible it was for me to get my blood drawn a few months ago? Well, the dentist ranks right up there for me. Only at least the blood draw was reasonably quick. I anticipate being in the dentist chair for a while today. ![]()
I chipped a molar last Wednesday and this was the first they could get me in. Thankfully, I haven't had any pain from it.
I haven't been to the dentist in probably 4 years. I hate having people's hands in my mouth and I feel so vulnerable. So, today I'm not sure what they will do. I'm hoping they can fill where the chip is, but in reality, I'll probably need a crown. I'm sure they will take x-rays and maybe do a cleaning unless I need scaling - then they'll probably make me come back. ![]()
Anyway, good thoughts at 10am would be appreciated. And YES, I do know that I'm a massive baby!

You can't be serious.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
totally. i love my smile and i want to make sure that i get my normal checkups so that it can be beautiful! i also have 3 baby teeth which are also my adult teeth so checking up on those and makeing sure everything is ok is really important.
You know, I have pretty strong, giant teeth that are really important to me. I think my smile is one of my best qualities (straight, white, etc.), but I still cannot make myself get to the dentist regularly. You have inspired me to try to be better about it. Also as a good example to my kiddo.
Thanks for the vibes.
