Vibes Needed Please!
A friend of mine could use some of those nestie vibes that work so well! They are expecting their first child any minute now and labor is going oh so slow. Her water broke on Friday night and the little booger still hasn't made he appearance! She is having a home birth so that is why she is still pregnant. Her contractions haven't been very consistent. I don't know much more than that because I don't want to call them all the time and bother them. I am relying on facebook for updates. Please send some vibes her way that her labor picks up and she starts progressing some more! Thanks!

I could not imagine being in labor for DAYS. Yikes. She's got my vibes that that baby decides to make an appearance soon.
How long will they let her go with her water broken and no baby before they intervene?
I believe they will let you go as long as needed as long as there are no shifts in temperature, the baby's heart rate is fine, etc. Midwifes don't check you like they do at a hospital so there isn't the higher risk fo infection. One of her friends did a home birth and delievered 5 days after her water broke.
