Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
iPad users, question for you!
I have noticed that on my iPad, sometimes stuff gets mixed up on the screen. The primary example is on the FB app, the pictures are not matching up with the person's name. In other words, another friend's profile pic comes up next to someone else's name. It really throws me off sometimes, and I was wondering if it's just a glitch with mine or if anyone else has noticed.
I also noticed the same thing when I was reading posts on here... it was mixing up avatars and screen names for some people.
Anyone else have this (minor) problem? Other than that, things work pretty smoothly.
Re: iPad users, question for you!
okay, THANK YOU!
At first I thought I was just really high and my eyes were playing tricks on me. Then it kept happening.
Then it was like a profile pic of a baby (from some other friend) would appear next to a status update made by Apples, and I was like, "WTH?"
I wonder if it is an iPad glitch or a FB Mobile app glitch, but then it happened on TheNest and made me think I was going bonkers. I'm glad that I am not (this time)!
I can't count how many time I've thought the same thing for different situations.. LOL
hehe, you are here today! Trust me, when it happened specifically to one of your posts, I definitely new something was wrong. I knew you would never have a baby pic as your profile.
Your new iPad doesn't do this?
No- I haven't noticed it yet- but I'll let you know if I do!
(I am here today but not really- just popping in and out while I"m at work)
