New music
So who is "in" now? What are you ladies listening to? I realized on the half time show last night that I was out of it b/c I didn't know who MIA was. So catch me up...what music is big right now? Who should I know?

Well, this may be my personal opinion that might not be valid, but you aren't at a loss by not knowing who MIA is. So many "artists" out there that are popular right now aren't what I consider artists.
So if you want to know what I'm listening to, here they are: Muse, Anberlin, Matt Nathanson, Gavin Degraw, Jason Mraz, The Foo Fighters, Mumford and Sons, and The Black Keys.
I only know the new and popular music from working at Best Buy. The top 40 (96.5 in our area) is always playing from somewhere at the stores. And there are always pictures of the artists with new CDs coming out. That being said, I haven't added hardly anything new to my ipod in the past 6 months. I put the new Black Keys cd on there, because they're from Akron and well known 'round here.
I didn't know who MIA was either, I knew LMFAO because they had a commercial on the tvs at the stores. And Nicki Minaj only from one of previously mentioned Best Buy posters.
The best way I find new stuff is Pandora. It knows what I like, and finds similar stuff. You gotta spend some time with it to weed out what you don't like, but once you've got it set up, you're golden.
