Re: wfd?
We're having wine braised short ribs over marscapone polenta.
ETA - Thanks for posting the recipe link LegalBritt! I've been thinking about it since last week and couldn't wait to try it.
I wish ... I am in a dead zone at work where there's nothing for me to do, but I can't really leave.
It's date night, so we're going to the seafood store/restaurant on capitol hill.
1st year anniversary in Victoria with a killer whale topiary!
What is this seafood store/restaurant you speak of? I start my new job on Capitol Hill next week
I'm going to Kari's house for dinner
We are having leftover turkey chili and I'm going to make a warm broccoli salad, hopefully with enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Is this Taylor Shellfish? Cause I miss them terribly from the Ballard Farmer's market.
We're having kalbi (Korean bbq), rice, and buttered peas.
I wonder if I walk around the neighborhood sniffing if I'll be able to show up on her doorstep. My kitchen is so not getting clean so I have no idea how dinner will get made.
Eating is going to suck, thanks to my gall bladder!!
Tonight I decided I really wanted protein so that means no starches tonight. So it's going to be Beef and peas for me.

ooh, this sounds yummy! recipe?
FCF sells the BEST braising mix...just baby leaves of a variety of grees. Currently it had a lot of rainbow chard plus kale and I don't know what else. We do this simply by putting some olive oil in a saute pan with half a diced onion. Cook the onion down a bit until close to translucent, then toss in the freshly washed greens and cook, tossing occasionally, for about 5-8 minutes. If you want them softer, you can add 1/4 cup water and cover to steam them, but we like them a little harder. Then just finish with some fresh pepper. We don't even usually bother with salt.
