How did I miss this? Homeland (No spoilers)
We started watching this show last week and finished the whole season in a few days. LOVE! I loved Damian Lewis in Band of Brothers and Life. (So sad the latter was cancelled.) I just realized he is British. Am I the only one that didn't know this? His American accent is impeccable! Some people slip on certain words or you might catch a funny pronunciation here or there. But I never would have guessed. So I had to google to hear what he normally sounds like. So strange!

I did know this, but I always forget because he's so good at his American accent!
I'm always thrown when I hear Ryan Kwanten (True Blood, he's Australian) and Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl, he's British as well) speak in their real voices, too.
I did know this. I got mildly obsessed w/ him during Band of Brothers and looked him up - that's when I figured it out.
I've known about Ryan Kwanten for awhile, but I was even MORE shocked about that one!

I only knew this because SO found a YouTube video and was like "holy crap I had no idea!"
His American accent is rockin'. Bravo to him.
I love Homeland and Damian Lewis. I knew that he was a British actor but it was cool to watch the video to hear how he speaks naturally. His American accent is excellent.
OP, I know what you mean by catching a mispronunciation here or there. I loved Dominic West in the Wire but he'd be off every now and then. Doesn't matter, he and the rest of the cast were amazing.
