DVR Conflict & Question

I've got a major DVR conflict, tonight. BOO. I've got Gossip Girl and Heart of Dixie (cheesy, but I can't quit it) on one 'channel' and How I Met Your Mother and those other comedies after it that H likes to watch on the other DVR 'channel'. BUT, I've got The Voice going on and no where to put it.

So, my question is this: How soon does the CW get GG episodes up after it airs? Is it on the website or Hulu that night or the day after or when? I'm thinking I may be able to cancel GG and HoD  and watch online and replace them with The Voice. We'll see...

    Not sure about GG and HoD, but HIMYM is on Hulu the next day-- just the most recent episode just for one week. And last year the Voice was on On Demand (not sure if you get that), so I would see if other episodes are up yet for that and then make your decision. But I would say at least record HIMYM because it's hard to find if you don't get that hulu window...

    This is why we have more than 1 dvr in our house.   We watch way too much tv and some nights, both dvrs are recording.

    Do you have time shifting?  Ie channels avail in other time zones?

    I think I'm too late to be of any help tonight but the CW is very slow in getting their shows online.  It is normally 3-4 days before they are up.  So in general, when I need to skip a show due to conflict I always skip the non CW show.

    Ah, bummer. I posted this then had to run, so I just did what I thought would work best... which was cancelled GG and HoD. I guess I'll know for next time. Thanks for the suggestions!
