This is a long shot but...my BFF is interested in teaching from home. She is currently teaching 7th or 8th grade English (I am not sure). She has her Masters in English and is going back to school online for her doctorate. She was talking with me about it today and I told her I knew someone that did that and I would contact you for any information to help her out. She said she has no idea where to even start looking for jobs.

Do you know what state she's certified to teach in? Mississippi?
You can direct her to our careers page: http://k12.com/careers Every opening in the company will be posted there. I don't have any open requisitions in the English department for MS-cert teachers right now, but she may see something else there that piques her interest!
If she doesn't see anything that there interests her, you can let her know that I basically stumbled into my job by googling "online teaching jobs." It's amazing what you can find that way!
