Weekly Check-in

How'd everybody do?

I lost 1lb this week. Meet my goal of drinking more water and lifting 3 times. I only went running once, the goal was 2-3.

This week I need to get so morning runs in since I am running a 5k on Sunday. I'm normally a night time workouter. But the race starts at 8am. So 2 am runs, a race and 2 days of lifting are my workout goals. Drink more water, take my multivitamin and track for my nutrition goal. My goal time for the 5k is 36 minutes just slightly under a 12 minute mile.

  • Good luck on your race this weekend!  I am impressed with your determination.

  •  I CAN WEAR SIZE 8 JEANS NOW!!!

I lost 1.1 lbs this past week, which is less that I was hoping for. I have 35 more pounds to lose, and 15 weeks before my vacation. Losing 1lb a week isn't gonna cut it. :-( I did officially hit 30lbs lost. (My ticker rounds up) On Friday I got my "50 floors in one day" and "50 miles overall" badges with my Fitbit. I started week 5 of C25K Sunday, and I can run for 5 minutes straight all three times. Tomorrow I'll have to do 10 minutes, so we'll see how that goes.

  • Lex--I just read on your blog about the 50+ group aerobics being motivation.  I love going at that time of day to watch them do chair aerobics.  I can only wish that I am that active when I am their age and if they can do it, so can I.

  • Yea, I like when they wave to their neighbors :-) I hope I don't turn into a lump when I'm old.

  • Good job lexi making it to the 30lb mark. Thats a lot of weight!

When me and DH were at the gym yesterday an older couple were dancing in the aerobics room. They looked so happy and in love dancing together. I told DH that I hope were still that in love in 30 years!

  • I worked out as I had intended and enjoyed our dinner out on Saturday evening...without gaining anything! WOO HOO! I was proud of how I dealt with it!

I am down another 1.5 lbs, and hope to make it to 18 lbs gone by my next weigh in. I can almost TASTE my 10% ... I can't wait!!

This week I want to try to do 2 of the bootcamp workouts I have (Biggest Loser DVDs) as well as my normal rotation of aerobic/power walking ones.  I would like to get a yoga session in as well.
