I know I should wait until the Bumps post, but I am just so excited and it sucks being so far away and not being able to share the news!
So, we had our anatomy scan yesterday and we are having a healthy and very active little girl! We are so excited and just relieved that she is okay. All measurements were normal, but she did have a larger abdominal circumference. The doctor wasn't overly concerned, but it could mean she's going to be a big baby and it is a possible sign of GD. I get tested at my next appointment and am cracking down on what I eat and really making sure I eat healthy and don't have those moments of weakness. After dieting and eating healthy for over a year, I have pulled out the pregnancy card and indulged on more than one occasion. It may end up being nothing, but eating healthier certainly isn't going to hurt anyone.
Just wanted to share the news! I'm pretty sure this little girl is not going to be healthy for my bank account! I've already been shopping for cute outfits!

That's awesome news! I don't think you need to wait for the bumps and babies post to share exciting news like this.
I hear you on the pregnancy card thing though. It was hard for me to go from weight loss mode to just "eat like a normal person" mode.
Congrats on the healthy little girl!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Yay! Congrats on a sweet, healthy girl! And yes, all those cute clothes will do damage to your bank account but it's well worth it

Thanks ladies! We don't have names picked out yet but we've now started narrowing down our list and may just keep a short list until we meet her...who knows!
