Anyone familiar with privacy trees?
Basically, I am looking for an evergreen that will stop growing at about 6-10 feet because I don't want to prune it every year. I'm not sure evergreen trees like that exist, but I thought maybe there is a hybrid I don't know about.
I don't even know where to begin my research. So far nothing is coming up.
Re: Anyone familiar with privacy trees?
My sister and my BIL bought some privacy trees that grow a few yards every year. They were not evergreens but I am not sure what they were because I was 22 when they told me about this and the last thing on my mind was marriage and decorating a house. (most likely Thuja trees) I will call her tonight and message you what they were. Here are some sites:
Info on Privacy Trees (http://www.landscapingideasonline.com/privacy-trees.php)

Good luck!!!! PIP when you get it all set up!
These only grow to about 10 feet at maturity. They are more slender than what I would have normally chosen, but I can just buy a few more and obviously space them closer.
I don't need total provacy, but there is a space between our yards that people drop their yard clippings. Neighbors can't see it, but we can. Our neighbors were trying to help us out and put up an old fence to block the yard waste. Unfortunately, the fence is worse than the clippings and because no one knew what they were doing, it is now leaning halfway towards to the ground.
Ohhhh I like this tri color willow. It matures at 8-10 feet tall and wide.
WOW! That is pretty! Privacy and attractiveness!
This is a nice hardy selection for your area (we sell it at my parent's farm).
The only caution I'd have against the willow is that you want something with privacy year round and it wouldn't provide much winter privacy. Evergreens are your best bet, IMO
