F/u to school

So I divorced my group. I'm going to look at alcoholism among people of lower socioeconomic status' (below the poverty line).

I also do not know what I want to do when I graduate and its driving me bonkers.

Re: F/u to school

  • That sucks you had to leave your group, but I'm sure it will be worth it.  Your new topic sounds easier than the last one because there will probably be more info.

I graduated 4 years ago and still don't know what I want to do.  lol.  I always thought I did but changed my mind and now can't seem to commit to another field.  Anyway, just wanted to say you're not alone.

  • I'm glad you were able to ditch the group.

I have the opposite problem. I know what I want to do, but can't go back to school right now. First world problems.

  • That sucks! Here you don't know what you want to do when you graduate and I am contemplating not going back to school. ND books are too expensive and I think I do not have enough funds to finish off the degree.

Can you tell us why you chose that program? What was your inspiration? If you can remember that and you still get a smile or a spark then you gotta go for it.

  • I talked it over with H and I told him there was a few areas I'd want to go into : Policy Analysis, Research, and if I get my Masters, Teaching.

I started taking Sociology classes because I enrolled in Social Problems and was intrigued. Now that I've taken some upper level classes in Sociology (all of this semester), I want to go into one of the areas mentioned above.
