A love letter to c-section mamas

Re: A love letter to c-section mamas
Thanks Jennrs!
The good news is, I made it through the whole thing with no tears, I am healing for sure :-) I'm lucky that I have been surrounded by loving and supportive people. The only person questioning everything was me. It took a long time, but I am finally at peace with it.
I am still determined to VBAC though!
I was also in the "my plan is to give birth" camp. I went in without a firm idea of what I wanted or expected, and that may be because I'd been on bedrest for almost 3 weeks and was just scared in general for her health. Do I wish that I hadn't needed to be induced and then have an emergency c/s? Yes. Would I do anything differently? Nope. When my doctor said they needed to go in and get her, my response was "I don't care if you have to go in through my nose, just get her out safely."
