How about a bacon milkshake to start off your day?

Re: How about a bacon milkshake to start off your day?

  • haha, as if milkshakes couldn't be any more fattening.

BTW, they were talking about this on the radio and it is Bacon Flavored Syrup that they use, not little pieces of ground up bacon.   So if you try the shake, it won't be like little grinds of bacon as if it were a Cookes N Cream or Fruit Shake, just FYI!

I don't know if I find this more gross or not. (syrup vs. chunks).

The whole bacon craze baffles me. I thoroughly enjoy bacon. Sometimes cooked, sometimes baked, or sometimes in the microwave. Sometimes on a salad. but in beer? no thanks. vodka? no. and a milkshake? nooooo.

Bacon syrup?! That sucks! I mean, the whole idea of it grosses me out just thinking about how awful it must be for you but I think little bacon pieces in the ice cream would probably be tasty.  It's that whole salty & sweet thing.

  • No one tell my DH about this! We will go broke! He had bacon in his groom's cake at our wedding. Like, real crumbled up pieces of actual bacon in the icing between the two layers of the top tier. There was also a fondant piece of bacon on the front. He likes bacon.

  • I'm also weirded out about the bacon craze, but I'm really not a bacon fan. I'll eat it if it's crumbled in something with lots of other flavor, or maybe added to a sandwich. I can't pick up a piece of bacon just to eat it though, so I'm positive I couldn't get on the bacon bandwagon. Blech.
