How to fundraise?
I haven't had to fundraise in a long time. I also found out about this NF run late so I don't have much time. I want to raise $1000.00 and am a little more than halfway there.
Should I send a link to the docs I work with? It felt inappropriate to me. Should I resend the work email with updated links?
Should I post it on friends walls?
I don't want to be pushy but I have 5 days left! Any other ideas?
You ladies have been awesome btw. I feel so grateful to have you around!

I would recommend posting on facebook. The other thing, is to make sure you say on facebook that it's supporting the disease you have (if you're open about it to everyone). I have so many friends always asking for donations, but I always make an effort to donate if they, or someone they know, was personally affected by the cause they're supporting.

I will have to do a Facebook post and mention that. Maybe talk about my surgeries and what not. I just hate feeling like I am complaining lol.
don't feel like you're complaining! seriously! it just helps those of us who get bombarded by donation requests, and can't donate to everyone, pick and choose.
I will do that tomorrow. Maybe I will also send a reminder email to a few people at work about joining/donating. Just those who have said they want to.
definitely definitely post on facebook--that's what it's for haha. as for work-email, in the past i've done it, but i only sent it to the people i work directly with, and are closer with. i didn't send it to people i don't talk to often.
also, blast your family with an email about it, saying it's what you have, etc.
