Funniest.text.ever!

So several months back (October I think) I went on a first and ONLY date with a guy who turned out to be a real jerk.  I think I posted on here about it, he was the one who texted me at 12am after our terrible date and asked if I could see a future with him.  When I responded with "no, I just don't think it's in the cards for us" he got upset and texted something back about "wasting a perfectly good GC on me...." or something to that effect.

We've seen eachother a few times since in passing and he texted me awhile ago to find out how my test went so we've been on friendly terms.  BUT...this morning I just got a random text from him saying "so when are we going to dinner again??"

I started laughing so hard and just wrote back "huh?????"  At least he's persistent, we have to give him that.

  • Haha I remember that guy.  Yeah...dinner won't be happening again.  I think some guys go on dates with women and they decide to give up meeting new ones and recycle old dates.  This has happened to me before too.

  • I would be inclined to say something like "Oh!  Did you get a new gc for Christmas that you're looking to waste?"

I kind of said it like that but added an "LOL" and he totally thought I was joking.  He was like "no, but seriously, do you want to go to dinner sometime?"  How many times must I reject you????

This is awesome!  I'd go with this response if he keeps asking.

I'm also putting that in my file of responses to use in the future!

  • Persistent and clueless!  :)

My best friend recently had a similar experience and the guy would not stop.  She ended up having to block him from texts, emails, etc.
