80's spin was a huge hit!
Thanks for all the song ideas!!!! I am teaching it again at the other studio tonight and I am sure it will be even more fun!
We were dancing, singing and burning mega calories.
Re: 80's spin was a huge hit!
sweet!
did you dress up in leg warmers and a sweatband, too? If not, you should next time:
This is totally how I saw Angela! You are this generations Olivia Newton John.
I vote that she does a workout video song parody!
Glad the class was "tubular". LOL!
I bet it was a hit!
I want to try a spin class, but is it something I can just jump in on? It says to bring a padded seat cover... do you think that's necessary, even for the first time?
I can't do the stationary bike thing in the gym because of my knees, but I think it's the low angle of it that bothers them... the bikes in the spin class room look like normal, upright ones so I believe I'll try it out.
Any tips for first timers?
Erin, I have striped knee socks for tonight and a side ponytail!!
MME - check out my blog. At the bottom are tons of beginner tips and FAQ's.

Padded seats are not safe because as you come in and out of the saddle, it could slip bringing you along with it. Padded shorts are okay, but expensive. Your bum/lady bits get used to the seat after a few rides. I hope you give it a shot soon!
I always say that the best thing about it is that you don't need coordination and you go at your own pace and at your own resistance. No competition in the room except within yourself.
Thanks!
