I'm officially re-entering the job market

It's my decision.  I had a major meltdown last night over the toxic environment at my office.  I just can't take it anymore.  I know I'm good at my job, and those who know what's what tell me so.  I got a significant raise last year because of it.  I cannot continue to be blamed for others' mismanagement and lack of knowledge though.  Your dumbassedness is not my fault, and I no longer want it to be my problem.

I really wish people who are anti-defense contracting could come be a fly on the wall over here.  They'd get quite an education on why so much work is contracted out.

My only twinge of regret is that my manager has been a good mentor to me.  I'm a loyal person, sometimes to a fault, but even that can't keep me mired in this muck any longer.  I'm officially Over It.

This is my siggy.

Re: I'm officially re-entering the job market

  • I'm cheering for you silently from the misery of my cubicle, Bowies!!! There is only so much time you can invest in a situation like that before realizing it needs to change. I wish I was at that point (well, I am, but the job market in my state isn't at a point to permit it). Wishing you luck in your search. :)
  • I'm glad you've decided to be happier somewhere else.  Your work environment sounds emotionally grueling.  Good luck!
    Look with your special eyes.
  • Good luck!

  • Good luck Bowies, it'll be awesome to get out of a toxic environment.
    Oh, FFS.
  • Good for you!

    Good luck!
