I made cookies! ***Edited: PIP of mine!***
It's my good friend and coworker's birthday today, so last night I made her some cookies. Homemade Oreos! That's right. They are SO good. They're from this cookbook:
They're seriously amazing. Way better than store-bought! Those aren't my cookies (alas), but they turned out SO good. 
Here are mine:
They're HUGE (like 4-5" diameter). The dough wasn't refrigerated long enough, so they spread more than I'd have liked. But still super yummy!

Mmmm... that sounds amazing! You'll make some for all of us next, right??
I had to sub some stuff. I used Hershey's Kisses instead of semi-sweet chocolate chips (so it was milk-chocolate), and I only had Hershey's unsweetened cocoa. So that's what I used. But they still turned out pretty darn good!

Yes! The book is AMAZING. Every single thing we've made from this book has turned out SO well.

Know what DH said last night? He said, "If you have another DSTP, you can make those and decorate the top with pink frosting like a boob - and call them Oreolas!"

lol. we totally need another DSTP. but since you're techincially not allowed to bring babies--we'd have to wait until the baby is old enough that mommy-jennlin doesn't get separation anxiety
