VA beach weather/water temps?
I'm from NJ so for us, the ocean is frigid until well into July and then it's pretty warm through September. I thought I remembered being able to walk in the surf as early as end of April when I used to go in grade school, but when in the year will the weather be warm enough to spend time on the beach or swim in the ocean?

We got married in VAB Memorial Day weekend (that year 24 May)... it was warm enough to enjoy the beach, sit out, but IMO the water was still kinda cold. Kids were swimming in the ocean and adults went in the pool, but I'd give it til mid-June.
The ocean stays pretty warm-- mid/late Sept. Maybe, early Oct, but like M-Day in the spring, it depends on the year.
